Greek Frame Drums Meeting II – main artist: N. Scott Robinson
Greek Frame Drums Meeting (G.F.D.M. I) was organized for first time on March 17-20, 2008 at Mesolonghi, Greece. G.F.D.M. was intended to become an international event that will be considered as a reference point for percussionists all over the world. The success and acceptance of the first G.F.D.M. was triggered the conceiving of Greek Frame Drums Meeting II. G.F.D.M. II is about to be organized at the beautiful place of Krioneri, Mesolonghi, Greece at May 26-28, 2011. The main artist of G.F.D.M. II will be the Grammy Award Winning drummer N. Scott Robinson. The workshops will cover rich material for the technique and interpretation of frame drums. Each afternoon is free for hikes, swimming, and practice. Workshops will be with N. Scott Robinson, Gerasimos Siasos and Nicolaos Forlidas.
